The foundation module of the certificate. Covers the concept of logistics in its widest sense — the people, the working environment, sustainability and environmental responsibility, and the communications technology that runs modern logistics operations. By the end you can read a logistics job description and understand exactly where you fit.

Mandatory module · 40 guided learning hours · 30-question OR exam · 1-hour duration · 50% pass mark. This unit introduces students to the concept of logistics in its widest sense and to some of the general practices that are important in every part of the logistics working environment. It covers people in the working environment, sustainability and the environment, and communications technology — the three threads that run through every logistics role.
