Course Overview

ESG isn't a tick-box exercise anymore. This module covers how environmental, social, and governance considerations reshape ethical and sustainable supply chains — from supplier mapping and transparency through audits and third-party verification to international standards (UN, ILO, ETI, SA8000, Fair Trade).

What you'll learn

  • Apply ESG considerations to a global sourcing decision using STEEPLED analysis
  • Map a supply chain to identify modern slavery, corruption, and human rights risks
  • Use international standards (UN Global Compact, ILO, SA8000, Fair Trade) as the audit framework for supplier compliance
  • Design contractual terms that enforce ESG outcomes and trigger corrective action when standards are breached
