Course Overview

Big data and cyber security for procurement leaders. Covers the rise of big data in supply chains (3Vs, sources, types), data integrity and the legal frameworks around it (GDPR, NDAs, IPR), and the cyber security threats (cyber-terrorism, malware, APT) that target modern supply chains.

Elective module · 6 credits · Objective Response (OR) exam · 1.5-hour duration. For procurement leaders navigating the data side of modern supply chains. You'll cover the concept of big data and its rise (3Vs of volume, velocity, variety; data sources and types), data integrity requirements and the legal frameworks that protect it (UK Data Protection Act, GDPR, NDAs, IPR), and supply chain cyber security — including Supply Chain Cyber Security (SCCS), data security technologies, and the standard administration policies that minimise risk.
